EP568T
The EP568T is an AMC.4 compliant AdvancedTCA (ATCA) carrier board that supports four single-width Advanced Mezzanine Cards (AMCs). The EP568T is designed to deliver highly reliable and deterministic services for any AMC.4 compliant AMC including processor, DSP farm, and WAN/LAN I/O AMCs. This allows the blade to be highly configurable while retaining high performance for a variety of demanding applications.
The EP568T features the Tsi568A RapidIO switch from Tundra Semiconductor, which supports up to 8 x1 links or up to 4 x4 links, with a total aggregate bandwidth of 80 Gbps. The flexible port widths and frequency options allows the system designer to chose the optimal balance of performance, reliability, and power consumption.
The fabric interface for each of the AMC slots complies with the AMC.4 and AMC.2 specifications for the common options region and fat pipes region. The AMC slots support either a single x4 or 4 x1 SRIO connections on AMC ports 4 - 7. In addition, all of the AMC slots support Gigabit Ethernet connections on AMC ports 0 and 1 (AMC.1 Type E2), which can be used as control or data lanes and redundancy.
