Breakout Boards

Embedded Planet offers several breakout boards to simplify and accelerate the development process. The breakout boards connect directly to the expansion bus to allow for simplified signal probing or development of custom expansion cards. All of the boards are stack-through boards so that additional expansion cards can be plugged on top of the break-out boards. The expansion headers extend beyond the PC/104 form factor so that easy access to probe points is possible when connecting PC/104 form factor boards.

RPX Breakout

The RPX Breakout boards connects directly to the RPX series of computing engines from Embedded Planet. The Breakout Board routes all P1 and P2 expansion connector signals from the RPX Bus Architecture to standard 0.1" plug headers for easy probe access.

EP885 Breakout

The EP Breakout Board connects directly to the EP88x series of computing engines from Embedded Planet. The Breakout Board routes all expansion connector signals from the External Bus Architecture to standard 0.1" plug headers for easy probe access.

EBC/EP S Breakout

The EBC/EP S Bus Breakout Boards connect directly to the expansion bus connections on the EP8245, EP8248, EP8260, EP82xxM, EP405, and EP405PC computing engines from Embedded Planet. The Breakout Boards route all bus expansion connector signals to standard 0.1" plug headers for easy probe access.
