EP885,EP880 Breakout Board

The EP88x Breakout Board connects directly to the EP88x series of computing engines from Embedded Planet. The Breakout Board routes all expansion connector signals from the External Bus Architecture to standard 0.1" plug headers for easy probe access. These signals are connected to the receptacles on top of the Breakout Board so that expansion cards can be easily connected directly to the computing engine and PowerPC CPU. Simplifying development further, the Breakout Board has a "pass-thru" connector so a third user-defined card may be added.

The board is a "stack-through" board, so that other expansion cards can be plugged on top of the EP Breakout board. The headers on the board extend beyond the PC/104 form factor so that easy access to the probe points is possible when connecting PC/104 form factor boards.
