• Form Factor: 1U 19" rackmount. Accomodates 6 mid-size AMCs and one full-size MCH.
• Processor AMC Options: All of Embedded Planet's AMC boards have been tested and verified in the Scrhroff platform allowing for a range of price and performance options.
• Customer Specified AMC Options: Tell us what you need in terms of DSP, FPGA or communication AMCs (from any vendor) and we can supply a complete custom system to you.
• MCH Options: The MCH can be ordered to include support for PCI Express or Serial RapidIO on the fabric channels, GigE on the base channel, and telecom clock distribution.
• Storage AMC Options: Options are available for both SATA drives and Solid State Disks (SSDs) for high reliability and high performance systems. RAID configurations can be supported as well.
• Software Support: The Schroff platform can include NATView software on the MCH for maintenance and monitoring of the system. The Embedded Planet AMC boards are available with Linux or VxWorks BSPs.

 The Schroff 1U MicroTCA chassis is a compact platform for developing and deploying advanced networking, wireless infrastructure, test equipment, and medical imaging computing platforms. This product is designed to remove the integration difficulties and enable system designers to focus on higher value-added activities. The pre-integration rapidly increases time-to-market and reduces implementation and deployment risk for complex applications.

The Schroff line is available with multiple backplane, fabric, and power supply configurations and a range of processor AMCs for system control. The flexibility in system configuration allows for rapid development and deployment of total product solutions.

The 1U unit supports up to six mid-size AMCs and one full-size MCH. The chassis includes a hot swappable cooling unit that provide a total of 5 fans to address the most demanding thermal conditions. It utilizes a built in 250 watt AC power supply (voltage range from 85 to 264 VAC).  Diagnostic interfaces and software are available for all system components to provide a framework for system management.
