This course is focused on the design and development of application plug-ins for the Eclipse environment. The first part of the course focuses on acquiring an understanding of the Eclipse Plug-in Development Environment (PDE), highlighting areas of concern for application plug-in development. The latter part covers additional aspects of productizing, publishing, branding and distributing Eclipse application plug-ins.

Attendees perform hands on Eclipse plug-in development using The Right Tool for Linux. Approximately 50% of the course is given over to practical work.
