Agora2.0 Earns Verizon Open Development Certification

Our Agora2.0 platform has been certified by Verizon through its Open Development program. The certification, issued August 7, 2026, clears Agora2.0 to operate on the Verizon cellular network. Both the Agora52 and Agora53 are now ready to deploy with Verizon native SIMs.

Verizon’s Open Development Initiative is the carrier’s path for third-party device makers to bring their own hardware onto the network. Certification means the device has been tested and approved against Verizon’s requirements. That is a prerequisite for anyone planning to deploy a cellular IoT product at scale on Verizon.

What was certified

The approval covers Agora2.0 running software version 1.0.0 on hardware version 1.0, with the embedded Telit ME910G1-WW cellular module (module software M0C.400007, SW Package 37.00.438, module hardware version 1.0). Both Agora52 and Agora53 use the ME910G1-WW, a 3GPP Release 14 module supporting LTE-M and NB-IoT with expanded band coverage (B25, B27, B66, B71, B85), lower power draw, and improved NB-IoT receive sensitivity over the previous generation.

Agora 2.0 Certifications

Agora2.0 now carries FCC Part 15 Subpart B Class B, ISED ICES-003 Issue 7 Class B, PTCRB, AT&T TRENDI, and Verizon Open Development approvals.
