Agora52 . . .Part of the Agora 2.0 Family

As part of the Agora 2.0 platform, we have introduced Agora52. It is a robust, standalone embedded modem with MCU and on-board sensors options. This new product creates the ultimate cellular modem solution for IoT integration.

Agora52 continues the legacy with the proven Nordic nRF52840, ensuring maximum compatibility for current deployments. It continues to run FreeRTOS, offering consistency for existing deployments.

Wireless options include any combination of Cellular CAT M1, LoRa, and Bluetooth 5.0/BLE, while sensor options include temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality, distance, sound, and 6-axis accel/gyro.

How Agora52 Fits Your Needs

We have introduced two new variations of Agora to replace the previous Agora 1.0. Agora52 has evolved its capabilities while keeping pace with advances in customer requirements.

Agora52

All of the things that you wanted to do with Agora can be done with Agora 52 with a few small changes to pin assignments. Based on customer use and common requirements of the applications in which Agora has been used, the 9-axis IMU and ambient light sensor have been removed.

Agora52 can run all the FreeRTOS-based code that EP has developed for the original Agora IoT sensors. See the table below for a comparison of the old and new versions.
